The funny thing about people is that we think we need to pick up where we left off. We tend to believe that what we did yesterday needs to be continued today and what’s done today will follow through tomorrow. The truth is…it doesn’t. We can make any choice we like. Our history doesn’t have to influence our todays and tomorrows unless we allow it. If we don’t like the direction our choices are taking us, we can choose differently and break any unwanted repetitious cycles.

We only become stuck in a habit when we choose to be stuck. Each of us has the power to change direction.

Choose up!

When we were kids we had a propensity to imagine and create things. We saw the creative and intelligent design in the world. Logic didn’t exist. Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy and many other imaginations were as real to us as our parents. We are born with this natural ability to separate ourselves from ourselves.

We have not been conditioned into believing things, but have been conditioned out of believing. In order to fit in with the herd, we were taught to put childish things away. We were taught how to be appropriate by our parents, teachers and piers. Slowly we learned to fit in. Gradually we were trained to use logic.

It is becoming less and less accepted to believe in things you cannot see or explain. Yet it is precisely the unseen which drives us to be more than we currently are. Logic would say you can’t be your dream you because you are genetically unable. Belief pisses on the grave of logic and says “Yes I Can!”

80% of Americans believe in some sort of higher power, even though Freud, Dawkins, Shermer and many others in the scientific community call this irrational. Children are born knowing the world is abundant until their parents teach them there is lack. Again I say, we are conditioned out of believing.

Science has proven that we use the same part of our mind in evaluating beliefs as we do facts. In other words, our minds do not know the difference between a belief and a fact. (Click Here To Learn more) Beliefs allow us to do illogical things. A bee flies because he believes he can although his design makes this aerodynamically impossible. (See here).

So my friend, who says you can’t be your dream? Who is it that is asking you to be logical; to put childish things away?

I say go for it! Do it! Be it! Have it!

Why?

Because I believe you can!

Why is it that we tend to be unbending and intolerable of peoples beliefs?

Belief is all we have, it drives every decision we make. Belief allows us to be  healed when we are sick, stand up when we are down or advance when we are behind. Belief changes a comforting story to a fearful one. Belief makes a man a failure or a success. Belief makes a sugar pill a miracle drug. Belief is unique to us all.

Some people believe there are conspiracies, others don’t. Some believe in a heaven and hell, others believe in reincarnation, some believe in nothing external. Some people believe in Aliens others in Allah. Some believe in psychics, mediums and so forth.

What do you believe?

How would you feel if someone destroyed those beliefs or forced you to believe differently?

Show me the rule book that says we must believe in God, aliens, evolution, Allah, Buddha or science. A scientist will say that proof is required by the person initiating the claim. A religious person will say that proof is required by the unbelieving.

People believe in many different ways. I feel there is beauty in this diversity. Yet some see it as ugly and unbecoming.

I believe in God, you may not. Is there a need for conflict based on that simple statement?

Even those who believe in a God believe it in different ways. Those who believe in science, believe in it in different ways. Beyond that, there are myriad ways that people believe in things.

I believe in creation, you may believe in evolution.

For me I say:

I have yet to see an airplane go back to its inventor and say; “You never created me!”

I have yet to hear of a computer telling the man who created it; he doesn’t exist.

I await the news of a skyscraper saying it evolved from a teepee

Why is it that we as human beings are constantly attempting to disprove the notion of a creator?

You may agree with me or you may say; “How could anyone discount the evidences supporting evolution?”

Either way we choose to believe it or not. It then becomes the driving force behind all of our decisions.

My challenge to you is to respect peoples beliefs. How different might this world be if we tolerated another’s beliefs?

I am not saying that we allow socially detestable actions to continue. I am not advocating murders, robberies, criminal behaviors and discriminations. I am merely suggesting a love for mankind regardless of what they choose to believe. You got to choose your beliefs, let them choose theirs. If they feel the desire to shift their beliefs and change their perspectives, let them. Don’t you have the same right?

The other day I was siitting with one of my clients and we were discussing the successes he has been experiencing in our coaching sessions. H elooked at me and said, “Nick, I have a problem, I’ve created a problem in my life.” I looked at him and said, “Tell me about it.” He said, ” I have too many real estate listings and not enough keyboxes!”

When I stopped laughing, I looked at him and said, “You need more problems like that in your life.”

I loved his perspective of a problem. It would have been so easy to find a negative problem in his life, but he is out creating positive ones.

Having too many listings, too much money, too many friends and so on are all good problems to have.

My challenge to you this week is to go out and create problems; good problems in your life. Be too good at something, make too much money, find something that you can have too much of and get it, but only on the positive side.

How would that affect your life?

—-I love the question:…Do you know how old I will be before I get any good at that?!” ….., “Yes, the same age that you will be if you don’t”.  Take on what you are passionate about no matter how old you are!

—-Investing can be a scary thing for a lot of people. Why is it that investing in yourself is just as hard? Take time to invest in yourself. There is no greater return than that which comes from knowledge.

—-I love the thought of a media fast. I have done this for a long time. By cutting out the negativity it assists me in moving forward.

—-I feel low self esteem comes by giving your power of self worth to others. My mother wrote on her mirror, “Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who’s the fairest of them all? If it’s me say nothing!”  the only opinion that matters is our own. Yet how often are people dependent of the perspectives of others?

—-I’ve been a believer in the law of attraction in as much as it’s tied to action. The appearance of the body on the outside is a reflection of the feelings we hold about ourselves on the inside.

—-I am a true believer that a person’s perspective greatly affects their ability to grow.

—-Seriously, how many people wait and wait and wait for things to change while avoiding the very actions that are necessary for the desired attainment?

—- There are no obstacles in life other than the ones we place in front of ourselves.

—- It’s true! Success does come easily when you are passionate about what you do.

The Power and Cycle of Creative Committed Intention

Is God a Creator? If he stopped creating, would he cease to be God? Yes.

Am I a creator? Absolutely Yes! I am constantly creating. There is never a moment when I am not creating. Whether it be for the light or the darkness, good or bad.

I have remembered the cycle of creation. On Sunday night as I slept, I kept dreaming of this process. I had a clear vision of how it works. It reminds me of a scripture that says “By small and simple things shall great things come to pass.” I envisioned a large Vortex or what could be called a catch all account. All creations are attracted into this and separated by their creation; the positive to one side and the negative to the other. Creations are emotions and feelings, physical things that I can see and physical creations that I don’t yet see. I visualize a Universal Database that allows me access to infinite possibilities on both sides of the spectrum.  I imagine three types of creators; the negative creators, the positive creators and the rejecters. The negative creators are the “Have Not’s.” They are constantly going through life saying things like; “I don’t have.., I never…, I don’t get…, I’m sick of…, and on.” It can also carry I am  statements, Like I am stupid and the universe says, “Yes you are;” or I am fat and again the response is “Yes you are!” The “Have Not’s” are in a continual cycle of telling the Universe negative affirmations and all the Universe can do is say “Yes!” Because of this, I receive all of the negative things in my life that are not working and I create these both consciously and unconsciously. The positive creators are the “Have’s.” This group is constantly creating positive innovations for their lives. They love to say words like; “I have…,  I am…, I do…, I get…, and on.” The “Have’s” are in a continuous cycle of telling the Universe positive affirmations and the Universe can do nothing but say “Yes!”  As I step into the role of a “Have,” I get to experience my creative power on the positive side. I bring into my life the good things and there are NO LIMITATIONS to what I can create. As I said earlier, there are infinite possibilities. The rejecters are classified as “Have Not’s.” The difference is they are powerful creators of both light and dark. The universe is constantly sending them what they ask and this group says; “It’s the wrong color, it’s too small, it’s not enough, not that, and on.” This group is in a constant state of rejection. This group never clarifies specifically what it is they want and when the Universe says “Yes,” they send it back, because it wasn’t just right. The Universe doesn’t get to determine my definiteness. What I know is when I reject what the universe has sent me, which was my own creation; whether conscious or unconscious, I show the Universe that I am unwilling to receive; unwilling to open up to all possibilities. By so doing I dry up my own universal well and the universe, which gives in gratitude says to me; “No more for you!” It reminds me of the scripture in Matthew 25:29 which says; “For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.” I see this as having something in my life that I am not in love with. When this is the case and I’ll use my car as an example, I tend to neglect it. As I neglect my car by not cleaning it, tuning it up, changing the oil and so forth until one day…”Poof!” It breaks down or I get in an accident and it is destroyed. As the scripture states, “It is taken away.” All creations deserve care and love. They are creations of a God. I created them and because I have created them, I get to take care of them. As I fail to do this, this creation, whatever “IT” is, will be taken from me and given to one who is more open to receiving it. Because; what I’ll reiterate… is that all creations deserve “LOVE!”

The universe is constantly in motion. My creations are constantly in motion. More specifically, energy is constantly in motion. Are creations just focused energy? I know they are. When I create in my life, whatever it is that I created comes into my space and I take stewardship over it. Notice I said stewardship. I never own anything; for when I die it doesn’t come with me, it passes to the next steward. Therefore I control and manage my creations. This is a misinterpretation I used to give to the things that are in my control. I used to think I owned what I have. I can now see that way of believing doesn’t work. So, if I am a steward over everything in my life that I have been open to receiving, I get the opportunity to care for it. And quite literally, I can have anything I could imagine as long as it is attached to committed intention. Would it be fair for the universe to give me $1,000,000.00 if I haven’t been a good steward over $100.00? Is saying, “I am a millionaire!” committed intention if my toosh is glued to the cush? Would it work for the Universe to give me a mansion as I call it forward if I allow my current home to exist in disarray? Allow me to clarify that the universe says “Yes” to all of my creations. It is me who rejects those creations because unconsciously, I know I am not prepared.

Every creation has a price and I get to pay the price in proportion to the value of the creation I willed. Let me explain. Edison paid the price in over 1,000 attempts to create one light bulb that worked. Others have paid prices equal to that in other ways be it positive or negative. I cannot deceive the Universe. My energy does not lie. If I were to say out-loud “I own a private jet” and my internal dialogue is “I can’t even afford to fly public,” The internal energy is what’s transmitted to the universe. I cannot be fat and skinny at the same time, happy and sad, rich and poor. If I am unwilling to choose, the universe will choose for me and that is based on my internal belief; whatever that is. It reminds me of what was said, “If you are neither hot nor cold, but are look warm, I will spew thee out of my mouth.” In order for me to create more perfectly what it is I want, my internal dialogue gets to match my external dialogue. In addition, my committed action to whatever it is I want to create deserves to be in proportion, equal to the amount of effort required to control such a thing. I venture to say that the price will be equal on both ends of the spectrum. The price of love is equal to the price of hate. I feel there is always a balance.

As I receive whatever “IT” is that I created and that is everything I currently control; I have the opportunity to look at what I have in my life and do some “House Cleaning.” As I mentioned every creation deserves love. When I am finished with a creation that I have brought into my life, it gets to be released from me. Can I truly give away something that’s not mine? I can never “Give” anything. I release it into the creative cycle and someone else who has attracted that particular thing into their life receives it. If no one will receive the current creation, the energy from that creation goes back into the “Vortex” and it is reorganized into a more perfect creation and sent to someone who will love it. Energy is neutral it is our creation that determines whether that energy is positive or negative. When one releases negative energy into the vortex it is neither light nor dark. As an example; A calm person may take an angry statement that was released and create it into a positive experience before they receive it. A person releasing a junked car has no influence on the energy that car carries. The person receiving may receive it in joy as a blessing or as just a junked car. Each individual creates their feeling uniquely. I cannot and will not force another person to carry the same emotion I carry. I do not have the power to choose for them.

If I look at my life; Is it exactly what I wanted? It must be, because I have it. I get to enjoy it and love it. I created it! Do I not like what I see? I get to create it differently! I get to release what it is that I don’t like and create what it is that I do like. I absolutely am open to receiving what it is I want.

The universe can only assist me in what I want. It will never help me. The universe understands absolutes and has absolutely no reference to time. It can move forward and backward as I would perceive it, to create exactly what I deserve now. I get to state everything in the “Now,” because whether it is created today or in December, it will still be “Now.” I get to be specific, detailed and clear with the universe. If I am vague in what I want, I get vague in return. If I am clear, I receive clear. I get to be specific in size, cost, color, time, amounts and so forth. The more detail I give, the more I get.

To wrap it up…I finally am clear that the process is flowing infinitely. I am just a conduit for creation. And to me that is exciting.

I am grateful for everything I have because I created it. Look how powerful I am!

One Success

I looked around me and what I saw

was me in a world of need.

I was broken, bankrupt and penniless

of that I will concede.

What would it take? I asked myself

to change my way of being?

What is it I would get to do

to alter what I’m seeing?

I decided then to get myself

a creature called success.

I knew if I could raise it right

it would clear me from this mess.

I searched to find my perfect match

I sought it long and hard.

And what I found so interesting

is to find it in my own yard.

I watered, fed and nurtured it

all morning, day and night.

No greater value could I create

it took near all my might.

But time went by as it always does

to my work I did hold true

and the most peculiar thing occurred,

my success turned into two

While shocked by this phenomenon

I wondered if there’s more

and yes through my committed stand,

My two turned into four

My four turned eight, and eight; sixteen

and sixteen made thirty two.

And yes with very little effort

they grew and grew and grew

My life is very different now

It’s nothing like it was

Because of my consistent effort

this poem ends like it does

In what seemed like the shortest time

I left my world of less

and learned that all I need in life

is to just have one success.

That one triumph will carry me

as quickly to the next

and through this simple process

my life will not be vexed.

So here’s a challenge to you my friend

to see how it is done.

Go out and create your own success

Cause all you need is one.
