Imagine a group of people surrounded by an individual bubble. Each one of them is saying “my way is the right way and that’s the way it is. My perspective is the right perspective and that’s the way it is.” Each of them saying the same thing.
Imagine a big circle of people all staring at one object in the middle of them. Each of their opinions is slightly differently. Not significantly different, just slightly. Yet each of them is unwilling to bend because their perspective is the right one. You have this mess of bubble people bouncing into each other and each time they do they say to the other, “This is what I see and I’m right.” Bouncing and bouncing and bouncing into each other always saying that they see it correctly. They each have differences in opinions, yet there remains just one object in the middle.
One little bubble guy opens up to the possibility that there may be another perspective. He opens up his bubble and asks another, “What do you see?” Of course that one shares his perspective, being 100% right. “That’s my way, that’s the way it is.” The little bubble guy says huh! I never saw it that way before, that’s interesting. I’m going to incorporate that into what I already know for me. He opens up and asks another, “What do you see?” Of course that one shares his perspective, being 100% right. “That’s my way, that’s the way it is. Blah! Blah! Blah!” The little bubble guy says, “huh! I never thought of that before. I had never seen it that way before, that’s interesting. I’m going to incorporate that into what I already know for me.” He continues this over and over again and notices something very interesting. Each of them is looking at the same object but with a different perspective. He begins to gain a clearer perspective into what is actually in the middle by continuing to ask those around him, “What do you see?”
Some of the descriptions are crazy. Some of the descriptions are close. Some of them are slightly and nearly unnoticeably varied. He learns that by asking others for their perspective, he can increase his perspective. It’s not about him. It’s not about what he sees. It’s about what they all see together. It’s about making sure that the world we all share connects.
How often do you go about in your bubble of perspective whith nothing new going out and nothing new coming in? Open up to the possibility that someone else may see it a little differently than you and that is ok.

If you want to have a visual of what wealth distribution looks like, picture the downtown area of a large city. There is generally an area of large, high-rise building clustered in one area. Spread out around it is a large city that spans out beyond these areas, in some cases as far as the eye can see. These city centers make up a small portion of the total city, generally 10% or 5% of the total city. The city centers have buildings of varying sizes and quality and the city’s around them host an array of average buildings that are nearly innumerable.
A small percentage of wealth is controlled by the masses. The largest portions of wealth are held by the minority. The wealthy generally outperform the poor by 90 to 95%. That means the wealthy poor, the middle class poor and the poor all work with about 5 to 10% of the wealth.
Those that break through to wealth will outperform their piers by upwards of 90%.
Both are choices. Being poor or being wealthy is a choice. Most people feel that all of the abundance that exists is already distributed. The beautiful thing about abundance is that when one pie run’s out, you just make another pie. There was no oil and transportation empire in the time of the Roman’s. There was no Bill Gates in J. Paul Getty’s time. Be open to the possibilities.

Imagine a person with a great idea, a great new way of being or invention, coming to the top of a mountain. As they approach the pinnacle of success as they see it, they approach a large crowd of people who are all holding the exact same idea or invention. There is very little difference, if any between their inventions. They look at the dauntingness of all those people who are attempting the same thing.
There are certain people who would turn around and walk away. They would say to themselves, “It’s not worth the effort, I’ll do something else.” There are others who would fight the crowd for a little bit, mingle and explain why theirs is better than someone else’s. This person would fight, bicker and quarrel with those who are similar to them.
Then will come those who will push, one by one through the crowd until they become the champion of that idea or invention.
We live in a world where most people get stuck or give up. They either get stuck in the crowd or turn around and leave before they ever have a chance to stand out. Every idea has multiple recipients. Many receive them at the same time. Few of these recipients will actually push it through to its fruition. Most people would rather mingle in the crowd and fight for scraps or turn around and walk away before they ever begin.
Where do you fit in? Are you going to be the one who takes it through the crowd? Are you going to be the one that takes it to the forefront and receives the credit or are you the one that will mingles with the crowd or turns away before starting? It’s up to you. No one else can choose that for you. This is not an ability reserved for a select few. This happens by the individual choices you make.
Step up and through. Become the champion of the idea.

There’s never a battle against other people. The battle I wage every day is against myself to see what I can do to overcome my weaknesses, my challenges, my trials and they are heavy enough. So when I go out and attack someone else, it’s not about them! It’s about what’s going on inside my head, a constant battle between ego and spirit. This is something I’ll get to battle every day of my life.
I have one email and my reaction was to go into the fight or flight response, myriad ‘what if’ questions popped into my mind and I jumped into worst case scenarios. I know all of the teachings about internal fears (which is the only type of fear there is). I know that when a fear or worry comes into my mind from that point I am to step into zero point and choose another path. I don’t have to keep snow-balling it.
This is the battle I’m fighting. There is no war of I’m better than you. It’s a battle of being better than who I am currently. A battle of overcoming my internal dialogue. I have grown up teaching myself stories and justifications of why things are the way they are. Every man woman and child does this. Is there any wonder why there is such confusion in communication? Each dialogue is different. Not one of us will ever think exactly like the other. Therefore it is my privilege to allow others to believe how, who or what they may.
Erich Fromm, a world renowned social psychologist said it perfectly; “That millions of people share the same forms of mental pathology does not make those people sane.” The ‘everybody is doing it, that’s normalcy’ mindset, doesn’t work in this world. This is where external battles form. We feel people should act ‘normal’ and work to force them into it. What if their normal is different than yours? Fix yourself and fix the world.

Acting with purpose is stronger than working with intention. Intention literally means to pay attention to something. Purpose is defined as putting into place, fulfilling and doing according to design. When we purpose something, we not only pay attention to it as we do with intention, we also plot, plan and work diligently towards it’s attainment until it becomes what we originally envisioned it to be. As you set your goals, do it with purpose and then work your tail off to actualize it.

Kathryn presents It Is Never Too Late To Try New Things: An Inspirational Post posted at Kathryn Vercillo on HubPages, saying, “Inspirational thoughts on why we should never stop trying new things.”
—-I love the question you shared:…do you know how old I will be before I get any good at that?!” ….., “yes, the same age that you will be if you don’t”. I have seen so many people take on a challenge this same way. You challenge the reader to take on what they are passionate about no matter how old they are? Thank you for this great post. – Nick
Noel Roberts presents An investment in knowledge, is the BEST investment? posted at The Official Blog of RKOTB.—-Investing can be a scary thing for a lot of people. Why is it that investing in yourself is just as hard? Noel challenged you to take a small amount of your time to invest in yourself. There is no greater return than that which comes from knowledge. Nice job!!- Nick
William Womack presents The Value of Action posted at Living Abundantly. —-I love the thought of a media fast. I have done this for a long time. By cutting out the negativity it assists me in moving forward. Action is the key to success and as you mention in this article it is required to affect change. I loved this article.- Nick
Aparna presents Self esteem-Why is it so important? posted at Beauty and Personality Grooming, saying, “Go and stand in front of a mirror. What kind of image do you see? Do you see yourself as a confident, healthy, pleasing person? Do you love yourself? Do you accept yourself fully with all your plus and minus points? Are you happy with your self image? If you are not, it means you do not have adequate self-esteem (self-respect).
Besides good health and other basic needs of life, self-esteem is a requisite to keep you happy”
—-I feel low self esteem comes by giving your power of self worth to others. My mother wrote on her mirror, “Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who’s the fairest of them all? If it’s me say nothing!” the only opinion that matters is our own. Yet how often are people dependent of the perspectives of others? This is a great article describing what effect self esteem has on transformation. I appreciate your submission.- Nick
Applying the Law of Attraction presents Making Positive Eating Choices with the LOA posted at Applying the Law of Attraction Membership Library, saying, “The Law of Attraction can bring abundance into every aspect of
your life. What if having too much is your problem? For people
who are overweight, too much of a good thing became excess
pounds.”
—-I’ve been a believer in the law of attraction in as much as it’s tied to action. The appearance of the body on the outside is a reflection of the feelings we hold about ourselves on the inside. This article discusses the power the law of attraction has in getting our bodies to the health level we desire. Reading this article can have a great impact on your abundant eating habits. Thanks for the twist.-Nick
Will Edwards presents How You Can Walk Through a Storm with Hope and Optimism in Your Heart posted at Self Growth, saying, “There are many times when life gets us down. Life is hard, finances are tight or a relationship breaks up. We’ve all been there and we are left wondering where God was throughout these difficult times. Why did God not help us in our hour of need?”
